I'm a multi-time SaaS founder who stumbled into the field service world the hard way.
In 2014, I built and launched Service Fusion without having any first-hand experience
running a field service business. We grew fast, ultimately serving thousands of field
service operators across dozens of industries — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and many
more.
After exiting Service Fusion in late 2020, I decided to get even closer to the industry. I acquired a multi-territory field service business — and that's when the reality hit me. Even with field service management software, accounting systems, and HR platforms in place, the day-to-day was still way harder than it needed to be.
Disconnected tools, manual workarounds, compliance headaches, fleet management frustrations — it all added up to unnecessary friction for the people doing the real work.
Being the SaaS guy that I am, I knew there had to be a better way.
A smarter, simpler way to help field service businesses organize their operations,
empower their teams, and grow without growing the chaos.
That’s why we’re building Wrangler.ai — the platform I’ll be using in our field service business, and one I hope you’ll join me on too.
